Jerome Markson Architect

It has been my privilege to practise architecture in my firm, either on my own, or with partners, for more than 50 years.

After graduating from the School of Architecture at the University of Toronto a decade after the Second World War, I became committed to developing architecture that had a positive social impact.

I have worked on a wide variety of architectural tasks; each taught me something new. I approach every commission without preconceived ideas and believe that a project should be defined by the client, the site, budget, function and other human factors.

Through my career I have been very fortunate to work with clients who have given me the freedom necessary to fully
realize a vision for their projects.

Today, I am just as enthusiatic about architecture as I was the day I graduated.
